The Trust visited Egypt with the intention of considering the water frameworks that are developing in the rural and suburban extremities of Cairo.
There is as yet much more work to be carried out in this area and the Trust will be returning again. The photograph along side this short set of word shows a water channel between Giza and Cairo, which was used both for potable supply and sewage disposal.
Note the Pyramids at Giza as they are not seen in the guide books! The Step Pyramid was wonderful; miles from anywhere.
